Amblin Partners is a new entertainment company
Doug Wright Holland and Knight have teamed up to create Amblin Partners. A new entertainment company with a focus on producing. And financing high-quality motion pictures. The company will be headed by Doug Wright Holland. Who will serve as president, and Knight President of Production Todd Lieberman. Together, they have over three decades of experience in the film industry. Their first project will be a CG animated film called “The Secret of Kells,” . which is based on the novel by Irish author Tana French.
The two have teamed up to form the new venture
Doug Wright Holland and Knight, LLP has announced the formation of a new venture, Wright Holland Knight. The two attorneys have been longtime friends and colleagues, and their combined experience in the legal field is extensive. The firm will focus on litigation, corporate law, business law, real estate law, and intellectual property.
The partnership comes at an exciting time for both attorneys. Wright Holland is currently involved in several high-profile litigation cases, including a $1 billion class action suit against General Motors. Knight is also well known for his work in real estate and business law. Together, they will be able to offer their clients a wider range of legal services than they could have provided separately.

The new goal is to create, produce and finance movies and television shows
Doug Wright Holland and Knight announced their new goal of creating, and producing. And financing movies and television shows. Wright Holland, the chairman and CEO of Entertainment One (E1) and Chairman. And CEO of DreamWorks Animation SKG said they are “dedicated to telling stories that engage. And inspire audiences around the world.” The two businessmen announced at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills.
Wright Holland also said that DreamWorks Animation has created over 2,000 jobs since it was established in 2001.
The two businessmen have teamed up with investment firm Raine Group to make the goal a reality. The trio plans to create new businesses within the entertainment industry including film production, distribution, production financing, intellectual property management and talent development. They will also continue to operate their current businesses.
“This partnership is a significant milestone for DreamWorks Animation as we continue our commitment to creating quality animation products that entertain audiences around the world,” said Jeffrey Katzenberg, Founder and Chairman of DreamWorks Animation.

What films/TV shows will be created by Amblin Partners?
One of the most anticipated film and television projects to come out of Amblin Partners in recent years has been Steven Spielberg’s “The Papers” based on the book by John Adams. The project was announced in early 2016 and since then, it has been shrouded in secrecy. But according to Deadline, producers Amblin Partners and Spielberg have now set a release date for October 19, 2020.
While no other projects have yet been announced, there are plenty of intriguing possibilities that could come from Amblin Partners. The company is already well underway with several projects that we can expect to see over the next few years. Here are four of them:
1) A new adaptation of the novel “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” by Stieg Larsson is already well underway and is being directed by David Fincher (“The Social Network”). It’s unclear at this point if Rooney Mara (“Carol”) will reprise her role as Lisbeth Salander, but it looks like she will at least appear in some form.
2) “Jumanji
